Sending WhatsApp Appointment Reminders from Jobber
Last updated: September 16, 2026
If you use Jobber to manage your jobs and scheduling, you can connect it to Broadcaster in a few minutes. Broadcaster reads your Jobber schedule and sends automatic WhatsApp reminders to your clients before each visit, without you touching a thing once it is set up.
What your clients receive
Your client gets a WhatsApp message from your business number ahead of their appointment. The message includes their name, the date and time of the visit, and whatever details you have set up in your reminder template. You can send one reminder or several, a few days out, the day before, the morning of, it is up to you.
WhatsApp messages get read. That is the point.
How to connect Jobber to Broadcaster
Jobber provides a direct iCal feed from the Schedule view. This is the URL Broadcaster uses to read your upcoming visits.
Step 1: Get your Jobber iCal feed URL
- Log into Jobber and go to Schedule from the main menu
- Click More Actions (or the three dots menu near the top)
- Select Set Up Calendar Sync
- Copy the Calendar URL shown
If you have a team, make sure you are logged in as a user who can see all visits, not just their own. Each Jobber user has a separate calendar URL that only shows their assigned work.
Step 2: Add the feed to Broadcaster
- Log into your Broadcaster account
- Go to Integrations in the left-hand menu
- On the ICS Calendar Feed card, press Add connection, then paste your Jobber iCal URL into Calendar URL and choose how often Broadcaster should check it: every hour, every 6 hours, or twice a day
- Press Add calendar feed
Broadcaster will pick up your Jobber visits within the hour. New visits added in Jobber will appear in Broadcaster automatically.
For full details on the iCal connection process, see our calendar connection guide.
What gets synced
| What syncs | Notes |
|---|---|
| Visit date and time | Yes |
| Job title | Yes, from the job name in Jobber |
| Client phone number | Used to find the matching contact. If nobody matches, the visit is held until you add the person, or Broadcaster can add them for you |
| Client name | Matched from Broadcaster by phone number, then email, then name |
| Visit notes | Yes, from the visit details field |
Jobber syncs visits, not jobs. If a job exists in Jobber but has no scheduled visit attached, it will not appear in Broadcaster. Make sure your jobs have visits booked against them.
Broadcaster matches a calendar event to a contact by phone number first, then by email, then by name. If nobody matches, the visit is not booked: it is listed on your Integration Activity page until you add the person, and then books itself. If you would rather Broadcaster added the person and booked the visit straight away, choose that option in the feed’s settings under Integrations.
Does this work for my trade?
Jobber is widely used by lawn care, window cleaning, gutter cleaning, pest control, and general property maintenance businesses in the UK. If you are running a recurring service business with regular client visits, this setup works particularly well. Broadcaster will send a reminder ahead of every scheduled visit automatically, including repeat jobs.
If you send clients a WhatsApp reminder manually today before each visit, this replaces that process entirely.
